Tara Urquidez
School Administrator
Administrator Tara Urquidez brings a unique combination of educational and business skills to CCA. She started with CCA Thirteen years ago working in the After School Care program. She enjoyed her work with children, so as a student teacher. Tara taught CCAs second grade. She then taught preschool for three years and first grade for four years. She earned a Bachelors of Science in Business Management at the University of Phoenix.
Tara was working as a counselor for the University of Phoenix when CCA hired her in August, 2010, to be the Administrator. Tara and her husband, Andrew have two boys, ages 7 and 2. She strongly believes CCAs emphasis on sound biblical educational principles cultivates the necessary moral, biblical, and educational foundation needed for young people to succeed in todays world.

Dave Moss
School Pastor
Bible
Mr. Moss graduated in West Texas from Pecos High School in 1978. He then attended Abilene Christian University until the fall semester of 1979 and transferred to Midland College from 1980. Mr. Moss moved from Midland, Texas to Albuquerque, N.M. in 1986 where he met his future wife at a non-denominational Bible study and married Debbie Geck in 1987. After apprenticing in the electrical trade, he earned his JE 98 Journeyman’s. License for Electrical in 1988 and worked in the construction trade until 1993.
He is the proud dad of two daughters and one son; Krista Moss, 21; Kayla Moss, 18; and Michael Moss, 16. Mr. Moss and his family have attended this Calvary Chapel since 1990. He was ordained as an Assistant Pastor in the summer of 1992 and served full – time as an Assistant Pastor at Calvary Chapel East and Directed Children’s Ministry from 1996 – 1997. Mr. Moss has also been charged with leading the Children’s Worship for twelve years. He and his wife, Debbie, have been Marriage Ministry Leaders in the Church for ten Years. Mr. Moss served as P.E. Coach at Calvary Christian Academy K4 – 12th grade from 1992 until 1998. In 2007 – 2010 he taught Bible 7th – 12th Grade and oversaw building maintenance. This year (2011– 2012) Mr. Moss teaches 5th, 7th and 8th Grade Bible and Guitar along with being the Disciplinary Principal.

Nicole Craner
Office Manager
Mrs. Nicole Craner joined CCA in August 2009. Nicole studied Communication and Nutrition in college. Her work background includes retail sales and teaching. The most important aspect of her life is serving the Lord and her family. Nicole and her husband, Steve, have been married 15 years. They have three children, all who attend CCA. Nicole also has an awesome step son who just joined the Army! Nicole cherishes time spent with her family and friends. Her hobbies include traveling, movies, exercising, cooking, baking and cake decorating. Nicole's expertise in baking and cake decorating go beyond hobbyist!
Ten years ago, after a few courses with the Wilton School of Cake Decorating and Confectionery Arts, Nicole received requests for cakes from family and friends and last summer taught a small class for her daughter and friends. We are blessed to have Nicole as Office Manager and Teacher for CCA's newest elective for the 2011 - 2012 school year!

Chris Chase
Academic Advisor
Mathematics Teacher
Christopher L. Chase received his BA degree in English and French as well as his New Mexico teaching certificate from Eastern New Mexico University. Additionally, he has thirty hours of post- graduate work. After graduating, he taught for a year at Van Buren Middle School in Albuquerque before being transferred to Highland High School.
He taught English and French for ten years at Highland before leaving to start teaching at Calvary Christian Academy fifteen years ago.
