School Rules
School Rules
The following school rules have been established to maintain and promote the safest and most effective environment for learning. These school rules will be enforced at all times and are in addition to individual classroom rules, which may vary.
All students are to be respectful and obedient to staff members and faculty at all times. All classroom and homework assignments are to be completed and turned in as assigned.Students are to be good
examples of Christian young people. Students are to show respect for the rights and feelings of others. Fighting, cheating, using bad language, etc. are not examples of Christian conduct.
Playground rules must be obeyed at all times.Cell phones are to be turned off and put in lockers during school hours, No cassette or CD players, radios, headsets, electronic games, or equipment are allowed on campus without prior consent from the administration. Such items will be taken to the office and will be returned to parents only.NO GUM is allowed at school at any time.Students are not allowed to leave the campus during the day except with parent permission and office approval.
Tardies, Abscences & Snow DaysSnow DaysEvery year there are at least a couple of days where snow interferes with the normal school schedule. On any day in question, please consult your radio or
TV channels 4 & 7 to learn of schedule modifications. CCA follows APS for all school closure and delays. If there is a delayed schedule, school will begin at 10:00.
TardiesAny student who is late for school must be signed in by a parent and bring a written note citing the reason for the tardy from their parent or guardian to present to the teacher before they
will be admitted into class or the parent may accompany the student to talk with the teacher concerning the tardy. Three unexcused tardies = one absence.
Absences
If it is necessary for your child to leave school other than at normal school hours, a parent or designated guardian must come to the office to withdraw the child. No child will be released without a parent or guardian.
If you know in advance that your child will be absent, please contact the teacher to provide study materials for your child. This way the child will not fall behind in class work. Eight
absences in one semester will result in a parent conference that could result in the student being put on probation. Continued absences or tardies may make itnecessary for us to disenroll the
student.
